Dr. Hannah Sullivan︱ORB Virtual Poetry Evening
For the second part of our three part poetry evening we were lucky enough to hear some poems from the award winning poet Dr. Hannah Sullivan.
Dr. Hannah Sullivan is a British academic and poet. She is the author of The Work of Revision, which won the Rose Mary Crawshay Prize and the University English Book Prize, as well as the poetry collection Three Poems, which won the T. S. Eliot Prize.
Anthony Anaxagorou︱ORB Virtual Poetry Evening
Anthony has long been a friend of the ORB, and has graciously published some of his poems with us. Anthony’s poetry has been published in The Poetry Review, Poetry London, New Statesman, and Granta, among others; his work has also appeared on various news channels including BBC Radio 4. Last year, his second collection ‘After the Formalities’ was shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize, and was also a Guardian and Telegraph poetry book of the year.
Jennifer Wong︱ORB Virtual Poetry Evening
Born in Hong Kong and now living in the UK, Jennifer Wong is a writer and translator. Her new collection, 回家 Letters Home, published by Nine Arches Press in 2020, has been named a Wild Card choice by Poetry Book Society. She is also the author of Goldfish (Chameleon Press 2013) – which won the Hong Kong Arts Development Council Young Artist Award (Literary Arts) and a pamphlet, Diary of a Miu Miu Salesgirl (Bitter Melon Poetry 2019).
